General Dentistry

A beautiful, healthy smile that lasts a lifetime is our ultimate goal when treating patients. We offer a detailed dental check-up with X-rays, and a routine cleaning every 6 months. Depending on the evaluation we advise fillings, root canals, or dental guards if necessary.

Dental Consultations and Xrays:

Here at the Zentist, we carry out a thorough evaluation using X-rays and Intraoral photographs on your first visit with us. We examine your teeth for any signs of tooth decay, reassess your existing fillings, run an oral cancer screening and evaluate your gums and bone for any signs of gum disease.

Routine Cleanings:

The accumulation of plaque and calculus around the teeth and under the gums can cause a cascade of dental problems like tooth decay, gum disease like gingivitis, bone loss, halitosis (bad breath), and eventually, tooth loss. Here at the Zentist, we advise Professional Dental Cleaning and polishing once at least every 6 months to rid the mouth of harmful bacteria and ensure you can enjoy a lifetime of exceptional oral health.

Cavity fillings:

Teeth may need fillings in case of decay, cracks, or minor fractures. Many-a-times fillings are also needed for aesthetic purposes like composite veneers. At the Zentist, we provide high-quality composite (or tooth-colored) fillings that beautifully match your natural teeth.

In the case of dental caries/cavities, the process involves thoroughly cleaning the decayed or affected portion of the tooth, followed by a white composite filling.

Root canal treatment:

The Zentist makes Root Canals Easy!

A root canal is needed when damage occurs to a tooth’s pulp/ nerve. This can happen due to an injury or due to severe tooth decay, most often leaving patients with severe pain. A root canal is a dreaded procedure but is often the only alternative to having a tooth extracted.

Our priority at the Zentist is to leave you Painfree! While root canals can take two or more appointments, we specialize in single sitting root canals. With our sophisticated equipment and care, we ensure a gentle dental experience.

Dental extractions:

In some cases, it becomes difficult to save a tooth hence an extraction is indicated. It may be due to severe unrestorable decay, advanced periodontal (gum) conditions, tooth fractures that cannot be repaired, or most commonly a wisdom tooth extraction.

We are very conservative with our procedures and promise to make this treatment as painless as possible.

Night Guards:

Teeth grinding and clenching, also known as Bruxism, is pretty common and can be painful and destructive to teeth. Most people aren’t even aware of their teeth grinding and take notice at a much later state when extensive corrective restorations may be required. At the Zentist, we help you detect early signs of Bruxism, and treat it with a custom-made nightguard. They work by putting a barrier between your teeth and help prevent your teeth, muscles, and TMJ from further injury.
